Sustainability / Eco ConsciousnessTheme Interpretation
After New explores what happens after fashion loses its obsession with constant newness. Rather than celebrating novelty, this theme focuses on garments that are worn, repaired, reused, and reinterpreted - pieces that carry traces of time, human touch, and natural regeneration.

- Renewal
After New explores a future where fashion no longer exists through constant replacement and consumption, but through regeneration, reconstruction, and organic transformation. Rather than pursuing untouched perfection or endless novelty, the project embraces garments that evolve over time - carrying traces of wear, repair, human interaction, and ecological presence.
Through the integration of plants, raw textures, and living organic elements, fashion becomes part of a wider natural system rather than something separated from it. Shoes are overtaken by grass, accessories transform into extensions of vegetation, and garments appear suspended between object, organism, and process.
The project reflects on a post-consumer condition in which beauty emerges through imperfection, adaptation, and material memory. Organic intervention disrupts conventional ideas of luxury and functionality, suggesting a future where fashion is not endlessly "new," but continuously transforming.
The body no longer dominates nature; instead, it coexists within cycles of growth, decay, and renewal.
Q:
What role does nature play within the project?
A:
Nature is not decorative. It actively transforms the garments and interrupts ideas of permanence and control.
